Bumblebee pollination in apples

To obtain a good production, apples require cross-pollination. Due to their favorable characteristics, bumblebees are the most effective cross-pollinators. They also perform when it is cold and rainy during the blooming period or when pollenizer trees are a bit further away. The use of bumblebees results in an increased quantity of seeds, which leads to a higher fruit quality and yield. Only advantages!

Biological control in apples

Use biological control to ensure a vigorous and healthy crop and to cut back on harmful and persistent pesticides. Pests develop resistance to pesticides: a vicious circle leading to even more chemicals with less effect. Biological control helps you to break this circle.

Biocontrol as your first line of defense has the following advantages:

  • Good yield

  • High quality

  • Safe working place for you and your employees

  • Protection of the environment

  • Residue-free production

Retailers and consumers demand for safe fruits produced in a sustainable way. Therefore, good IPM practice is also an essential marketing tool.
