As part of the BioFirst Group Biobest, Biobest Antalya is a key player in the production and distribution of biocontrol and bumblebee pollination solutions. Located in Antalya, Turkey, Biobest Antalya (BBA) is poised for growth in both existing and emerging market segments.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision, mission, and objectives. This person will inspire and guide the sales team to achieve targets, analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and promote our products and services effectively. Additionally, the Sales Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales & marketing objectives and action plans in line with the company’s vision, mission, and strategies, sharing these plans with the sales team to ensure their adoption and implementation.
  • Implement global and local business unit strategies with the team and evaluate the results.
  • Lead and inspire the sales team by providing guidance and support to ensure success, boosting morale and motivation.
  • Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and formulate action plans to introduce and promote new products and services.
  • Lead and participate in visits to existing and new customers with sales offices, when necessary.
  • Develop the annual budget plan for the sales department, monitor actual vs. planned budget at regular intervals, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Take ownership of the sales forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the BBA strategy.
  • Take necessary actions to investigate and resolve customer complaints, aiming to increase customer satisfaction, and implement preventive measures to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with international cross-functional teams, including Group Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development, Operations, and Finance.
  • Lead efforts to acquire new markets and customers.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of a relevant bachelor’s degree program.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of proven experience in field sales, technical support, and leading a sales team in the agricultural sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Strong management, communication, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to report effectively, deliver compelling presentations, and manage time efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel internationally 1-2 times per year.
  • Strong analytical skills and high reporting abilities.

  • Years of Experience: More than 10 years of experience.
  • Level of Education: Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate.
  • Military Status: Completed.
  • Driving License: Class B.
