BioFirst is a global player in biological pest and disease control and pollination solutions. We offer a full range of IPM (Integrated Pest Monitoring) solutions, including beneficial insects, predatory mites, bumblebees, insect pathogenic nematodes, biopesticides, biostimulants, biofertilisers and inoculants as well as high-tech monitoring and scouting. BioFirst has 32 production and/or distribution subsidiaries and employs 2800 employees worldwide. For the divisions Plant Products and BioWorks, with offices located in De Lier, Netherlands, and Westerlo, Belgium, we are currently looking for an International Business Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for sales and supply chain departments regarding financial matters, bridging operational and financial data.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and standard cost elements with departments, ensuring consistent implementation across international locations.
- Serve as a key user in ERP implementations, focusing on Master Data and workflows.
- Support the consolidation team and conduct regular internal checks to enhance reporting consistency.
- Provide business insights behind financial data, advising from a commercial-financial perspective. • Produce reports & presentations for business managers
- Drive tangible results through influence and proactive action.
- Report directly to the Presidents of the divisions with a dotted line to the CFO.
Your profile
- Minimum of a master’s degree in an Economic field.
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong partner for production and logistics, capable of meaningful discussions across all departments. • Talent for analysis and synthesis.
- Hands-on with a straightforward, proactive attitude.
- Work independently with a keen sense of initiative.
- Described by peers as methodical, service-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Excellent command of English; Spanish is a strong asset.
- Regular travel is an integral part of the role.
