As a SAP Master Data Agent, you will be part of the Data & Reporting team. You will be a central knowledge expert in the field of master data, providing this expertise to our business and projects. You are responsible for maintaining the Business Partners, ensuring that both customer and supplier information is up-to-date and can be used across various platforms (e.g., ERP, webshop, etc.). You contribute to improving existing processes through process automation and standardization. As a secondary priority, you assist your colleagues in keeping master data related to materials, assortments, and prices up-to-date. Throughout all of this, maintaining high data quality is essential. You will continually monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

The quality of our master data is crucial to serve as a reliable source of knowledge and information for sound decision-making. We are currently welcoming a SAP Master Data Agent to our IT team to further optimize and automate data structures and reporting.

Job Purpose

As a SAP Master Data Agent, you will be part of the Data & Reporting team. You will be a central knowledge expert in the field of master data, providing this expertise to our business and projects. You are responsible for maintaining the Business Partners, ensuring that both customer and supplier information is up-to-date and can be used across various platforms (e.g., ERP, webshop, etc.). You contribute to improving existing processes through process automation and standardization. As a secondary priority, you assist your colleagues in keeping master data related to materials, assortments, and prices up-to-date. Throughout all of this, maintaining high data quality is essential. You will continually monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are the primary person responsible for maintaining the master data of Business Partners in the ERP platform SAP S/4HANA for both customers and suppliers. Secondarily, you support the maintenance of master data for materials, assortments, prices, etc.
  • You identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation to optimize data management efficiency.
  • You collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data, align data management with business processes, and support data-related projects.
  • You provide guidance and training to colleagues on master data and maintain documentation of data processes and procedures.
  • You support projects during data migrations and improvements.

What We Expect From You

  • A conceptual understanding of data structures is a requirement for this position, as is a strong interest in data tools.
  • You can work efficiently with Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel.
  • Experience with ERP tools, such as SAP, is a plus.
  • You have a passion for accurate, daily data maintenance and work patiently and systematically to keep your data clean and correct.
  • You consistently strive to increase efficiency by automating processes.
  • You speak excellent Dutch and English.
