As a Crop Specialist you will be responsible for selling and providing technical advice on our products to our customers. You will work throughout Germany and become part of our dedicated team of specialists.
Demonstrate the optimal use of our products to our existing and new customers during regular visits. Bumblebees for pollination, biological plant protection with beneficial insects, monitoring and population control in protected cultivation (vegetables, ornamental plants, soft fruits, ...). Complete reporting rounds off your observations at the customer's site.
Analyse the needs of your customers and set priorities in coordination with the area manager in Germany to promote and further develop successful organic crop protection for the growers.
You have no fear of contact, are committed, motivated and can approach potential new customers.
Your qualifications/profile
- Residence in Germany
- Master gardener, Bachelor or Master degree in agricultural or horticultural sciences
- Several years of experience especially in integrated pest management and biological pest control and pollination are highly advantageous
- Technical background combined with commercial thinking (cost-benefit ratio)
- Broad knowledge of agriculture and protected cultivation (tunnel and greenhouse production)
- Independent, goal-oriented, open-minded, committed and flexible person with the willingness to travel constantly in the area of operation
- Good listener with the ability to analyse situations and make decisions independently.
- Oral and written command of German and English is mandatory for this job.
- Good experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
