Your responsibilities
- Understand pain points/needs of our customers and provide technical support to our existing and new customers including distributors/dealers and growers.
- Conduct demo trials with and provide training to our customers and other stakeholders.
- Identify sales opportunities during interactions with existing and potential customers. Communicate these to the Sales and Market Development Lead and collaborate to explore them further.
- Work closely with R&D, Marketing, and local technical advisors/customers to create and implement technical solutions.
- Establish connections with distributors and growers and other stakeholders, understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions.
- Monitor current and future pain points/needs in the market and trends and report this knowledge back to the Division.
Who are we looking for
- You are a passionate horticulture (and ideally open field specialty crop) specialist who finds satisfaction in supporting growers and developing practical solutions for growers.
- You know how to Identify customer needs and capture sales opportunities through your commercial insight and strong customer focus.
- You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, bioengineering, or plant sciences with minimum 5 years relevant professional experience in the horticulture sector.
- You possess a strong understanding of biological crop protection and integrated crop protection programs in horticulture. Experience in open-field crop protection is a plus.
- You are fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus.
- You have a strong ability to inspire, challenge, and convince your audience.
- You are willing to travel internationally for 30% of the time.
